A workshop on the practice of Suryanamaskāra-mantraḥ chanting & significance and application in developing concentration, the ability to fix the mind on one object.
This chant from the Taittirīya-Brāhmana (Yajur Veda) is a verbal salutation to the Sun and was taught to young children in Vedic schools to acknowledge this vital source of energy and nourishment. Chanting the seed syllables of this mantra in different sequences helps improve the duration of our exhalation and is a challenging practice of dhāraṇa or concentration.
Join us for a challenging practice workshop.
